About Me
As the owner of Horseshoe Valley Reiki, I’ve been dedicated to energetic and body-based therapy since 1988, starting my training with the late Japan-born Shiatsu Master Mitsuki Kikkawa in Toronto.
After working for a number of years as a Shiatsu Therapist and Registered Massage Therapist, I turned to a career in public health. I’ve taught at the private vocational school level and developed and led many workshops on a variety of healthcare topics.
In 2019, I was called to Reiki, and it has since become the cornerstone of my practice. I’ve been committed to its study ever since, achieving my Reiki Master level in 2024.
I also hold a Master’s Degree in Nursing, and a Teaching and Training Adults certificate from Georgian College.
